In it's issue today, the independent Egyptian daily, Al-Masry Al-Youm, reported on pro-democracy activist Shady El-Ghazaly Harb's release. Shady was detained for 30 hours while in Cairo Airport as he was about to board his flight to London via Dublin. Shady was due to qualify for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in London.
In the article, Shady tells Al-Masry Al-Youm about the questions he was asked and the treatment he received while in detention.
